UT-08 - Kwaripass(14000 FT.)

Day 1

Report at Rishikesh

Report at Rishikesh guest house in the afternoon. Issue of trekking equipment etc. Overnight in guest house.

Day 2

Rishikesh - Joshimath

Rishikesh - Joshimath( 1875 Mt.) (245 kms/8-9 hrs)
After an  breakfast drive to Joshimath via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, Reach in the afternoon. Overnight in guest house. Briefing about the trek and safety techniques during the trekking.

Day 3

Transfer to Auli

Transfer to Auli( 2778 Mt). Start trek Tali( 3506 Mt.) via Gurson ( 3658 Mt. ). Magnificient view of Nanda Devi peak and range. Trek 14 Km. Overnight camping.

Day 4

Trek Bagrbudda/ Khulara

Trek Bagrbudda/ Khulara : 09 Km. Trek passes through meadows full of wild flowers .Gradual climb.Reach Khulara campsite in the afternoon. Overnight camping.

Day 5

Trek to Kwaripass

Trek to Kwaripass( 4268 Mt.) and back to Khulara. Trek :  Trek to Kwaripassin involves steep climb uptopass .Panoramic view of Ranges. Trek with pack lunch and  back to Khulara in the afternoon. Overnight  night camping.

Day 6

Khulara to Tapovan

Trek : Khulara to Tapovan ( 1830Mt.) 14 Km. Trekpasses  through forest of pine and oak . Vehicle will pickup the group for transfer to Joshimath. Overnight stay in guest house.

Day 7

After breakfast transfer to Rishikesh. Overnight in guest house.

Day 8

 Programme concludes after breakfast.
