Bangalore is unofficially now considered as one of the metro cities of India (Alongwith Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi). Hassan - Hassan is an industrial town located mid-way between Mangalore and Bangalore and base point for guests to visit Halebid and Belur Temples, which are world known for their Hoysala era architecture. Coorg (Madikeri) - Madikeri (3500 ft asl) is the district headquarters of the Coorg region and also the highest point in the area. Madikeri offers guests nature centric experience and is a base point to explore the area.

Arrival at Hassan
Arrival at Bangalore. Proceed to Hassan (200 kms - 4 hours). Hassan is base point to visit Hoysala era Halebid and Belur temples, renowned for their heritage character and architecture. Visit Halebid and Belur and return to Hassan by evening.

Coorg via Sravanbelagola
Visit Sravanbelagola, a renowned Jain pilgrim centre atop of the hill with five hundred steps. Proceed to Coorg (Hassan - Coorg - 180 kms - 4.5 hours). Coorg (2500-3500 ft asl) is renowned for its Coffee Plantations, Luxury Resorts / Homestays and salibrious climate all round the year.

Dubare Elephant Camp, Tibetan Monastery, Nisargadhama Visit
Visit Dubare Elephant camp (Elephant ride, Coracle Ride), Tibetan Monastery and Cauvery Nisargadhama (Open Zoo). Explore local market and Kodagu Cuisine. Visit Abbey Falls during the day.

Excursions / Adventure / Experiences in Coorg
Excursion to Talcauvery (44 kms from Madikeri), origin of Cauvery river and a local pilgrim centre. Leisure profile guests may just relax and explore local markets and enjoy plantation views. Adventure oriented guests can opt for walk / trek.or visit Now or Neverland Adventure park in West Coorg. Experiential travellers may opt for a Plantation Lunch.

Proceed to Mysore via Sravanbelagoda. Afternoon visit to Mysore Palace
Travel to Mysore (120 kms - 2.5 hours). Mysore is a renowned tourist destination and popular with heritage travellers with Mysore Palace being the main attraction. Sightseeing tour of Mysore visiting Mysore Palace and 150 years old Jaganmohan Palace.

Sightseeing and Excursions In around Mysore
Proceed for local sightseeing such as St. Philomenas Church. Excursion to Somnathpur heritage Temples (50 kms).

Travel to Bandipur. Evening Safari
Proceed to Bandipur (80 kms - 2 hrs). Bandipur is a Wildlife destination enroute to Ooty in Karnataka renowned for its Tiger Population. Evening Safari in Bandipur.
