Deo Tibba Base trek is one of the most picturesque trek in the Manali region which offers landscapes ranging from alpine forests, meadows (locally known as thatch), waterfalls , moraines & a high altitude lake with blue water known as mini-Chandratal (4480m). The trek offers great view of snow clad peaks of Deo Tibba (6001m) & Indrasan (6220m) along with the glaciers of Jagatsukh & Deo Tibba. The entire stretch is an enriching experience for both flora & fauna lovers . It is a must do trek for the first timers as well regular trekkers.

  • Day 1

    Delhi to Manali

    Through famous VALLEY OF GODS

  • Day 2

    REST DAY

    short walks in mountain to get acclimitized to mountain air.

  • Day 3

    Manali - Khanol-Chika. 16 km

    Manali - Khanol-Chika. 16 km by taxi and then 2 hrs trek to Chhika
    We trek through a stretch of 3-4 kms that is steep through forest and then a long & wide alpine plateau with wild flowers to reach Chikka (3350 m). Chhika provides the best rocks for climbing in the area. Overnight in camp.

  • Day 4

    Chhika - Seri

    The route is along the right bank of Jagatsukh nallah and passes through Seri. Seri was once a glaciated lake, but is now a meadow carpeted with an astounding variety of herbs and alpine flowers. Along the trek, sudden appearance of Deo Tibba (6001 m) is breathtaking. Overnight in tent.

  • Day 5

    (Seri-Tenta)

           

  • Day 6

    Tenta - Deo Tibba Base and back to tenta

    We finally reach beautiful lake with emerald blue water Chandertal lake (4480 m) at the base of Deo Tibba. The flora enthusiast will have a wonderful time trying to identify the hundreds of flowers growing everywhere.

  • Day 7

    Tenta - Chhika

    The Deo Tibba Trek continues and we descend down to Bhanara village. In the afternoon explore nearby areas and view Shain range. Overnight in tents.

  • Day 8

    Chhika - Manali

    Trek down to Jagatsukh village enroute visit local temples From Jagatsukh travel to Manali by car/jeep. Overnight in Manali.

  • Day 9

    DEPART

    Travel back for Delhi
