UT-05 - Osla(8400 FT.)

Day 1

Group to be received at Rly. Station/Bus Stand Dehradun in the afternoon. Transfer to guest house . Issue of equipment and trek briefing.

Day 2

After early breakfast transfer to Sankari. Lunch enrtoute. Reach in the afternoon. Overnight camping.

Day 3

Trek : Sankri  to  Taluka (12km): Full day trek involves constant gradual climb. Trekking with  pack lunch. Reach in the afternoon. Overnight guest house

Day 4

Trek from Taluka - Osla

Trek towards Osla( 2560 M )  Along the way, traverse through the Siyan Gad by bridge to reach Dhatmir village and cross the Ton River. Trek 10 km. Trekking with pack lunch. Reach in the afternoon. Overnight in guest house.

Day 5

Trek from Osla - Har Ki Dun

11km trek to Har Ki Dun Passes through  plains and towering mountains. The gradual ascent to Har Ki Dun is adorned with wild orchid fields and  offers excellent views of the Swargarohini and Juandar glaciers.

Day 6

Trek from Har Ki Dun - Osla

Trekking back to the village of Osla will take up the entire day. Traverse through beautiful sights and landscapes along the way. The easy downhill trek to Osla takes around 3-4 hrs and covers around 11 Km.

Day 7

Trek from Osla - Talluka. 4-5 hrs.trek

Day 8

Talluka- Sankari  : 12 km. return trek

Day 9

After breakfast Transfer to Dehradun. Lunch enroute. Reach in the afternoon. Board train/bus for Delhi. Programme concludes.
